A CELEBRATION 100 years in the making is being planned for the Millewa.

A three-day long event is being arranged for the King's Birthday long weekend in June, to welcome people back to the region.

Millewa Centenary committee president Ron Hards said Millewa towns were a product of a huge amount of manual labour in the 1920s and 30s.
