A LOCAL not-for-profit welcomed visitors at an open day on Wednesday to spread awareness of its mission to help immigrants integrate into the community.

Sunraysia Mallee Ethnic Communities Council program manager Trish Fotheringham said she wanted to help people so they didn't ever feel isolated or left behind when arriving to the region.
