GROWING up in the 1960s in Cardross, my summers, for me and like a lot of others that I grew up with were totally dominated by cricket.

The Cardross Cricket Club was an intrinsic part of our community, as I’m guessing it was for all the other teams that played in the Red Cliffs Cricket Association, which Cardross was part of.
