FIVE young life savers from Mildura are continuing to make waves, performing beyond expectation at state-level surf life saving events.

There's not much surf to speak of in Mildura, so on seven occasions this year, the Mildura Life Saving Club volunteers made a 1300km round trip to Ocean Grove and back to join forces with the Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club.
