SUNRAYSIA's Filipino community were in full spirits on Saturday night, as they marked the 126th anniversary of Philippine independence from Spanish colonial rule.

Celebrations were held at the Salvation Army Fellowship Hall in Mildura, as culture and history were showcased to the broader community.
