THE Wimmera-Mallee Silo Art Trail could be the "missing link" to attracting a new cohort of tourists to Sunraysia, according to Mildura Rural City Councillor Mark Eckel.

Cr Eckel said that while gaining in popularity, the 200-kilometre trail could provide an economic boon to the region as travellers meander their way along the trail to north-west Victoria.
