FORMER Mildura Mayor and Medal of the Order of Australia recipient Laurence (Laurie) Andriske has been remembered as an entrepreneur and business tsar who was a leader in the engineering industry.

Mr Andriske, who established Andy's Engineers in the 1950s and helped introduce some of the biggest ranges of agricultural components in Australia, died last weekend aged 98.
