CALLING all electricians who want a free afternoon tea with a side of personal development.
Energy Safe Victoria is hosting an event in Mildura on Tuesday, August 12, at Sunitafe to update tradies in Sunraysia about ESV connect, which is the online platform to help them meet relevant registration and certification requirements.
The roadshow also covers ongoing professional development, electrical installation safety, renewables, Certificates of Electrical Safety and apprentice supervision.
A spokesperson for Energy Safe said the roadshow is designed to connect electricians, registered electrical contractors and apprentices face to face and give them a chance to ask the Energy Safe team about the latest safety updates.
“The roadshow events are a resource for electrical workers to help them understand how to meet their safety obligations and to support the implementation of the new professional development program and updated apprentice supervision requirements,” a spokesperson for Energy Safe said.
“With more than 800 registrations across Victoria, Energy Safe is exploring options to run similar events in more locations.”
Energy Safe also run the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program for workers to keep knowledge and skills current and relevant, reduce complacency, and improve safety outcomes.
Registration is free with the promise of afternoon tea and the chance to win some great prizes.
