Free business development event coming up in Mildura

MILDURA Rural City Council will partner with Mildura Regional Development and Better Building Finance for an after-work networking and knowledge-sharing event next month.

The free event will teach Sunraysia businesses ways to reduce overheads and plan for a future of rising electricity prices and market volatility.

Speakers will include councillors from the Mildura Rural City Council on supports available for local businesses and their sustainability goals, as well as speakers from Mildura Regional Development on the challenges and opportunities which local businesses face.

Members of the Sustainable Australia Fund will also speak on how businesses can finance their building upgrades without affecting their business cashflow.

The event will include a panel of sustainability experts discussing the different technologies that can power profits in local businesses, including No 1 Solar, Thermoshield, and Glaciem Heating and Cooling.

There will also be a panel of local businesses addressing the challenges in their industries and their sustainability journeys so far.

These will include AVL Wines, Cann Group and SJM Developments.

Following the event, attendees will have the opportunity to network and share knowledge with other local businesses and service providers.

The event will be held from 3pm to 5pm on May 18.

Attendees are encouraged to register online via https://bit.ly/FPYBREC.
