Serious business on the bus

Victoria’s Small Business Bus has arrived in Sunraysia, ready to provide planning, wellbeing and support services to business owners in the region.

“We can assist people with a wide range of things – cash flows, dealing with banks, dealing with creditors, business start-ups,” said Rural Financial Counselling Service Victoria West financial councillor Chris Young.

“They’re either starting out, or they’ve reached a point where they can’t pay the bills, can’t pay the rent, and there’s quite a few of those at the moment.”

The bus was in Mildura on Tuesday, and will visit the region up to six times this year.

Bookings for free, confidential RFCS appointments in the Small Business Bus can be made online.

All events start at 10am and end at 4pm.

The service was also in Ouyen last week at the east end of the Rowe Street swimming pool, and will be in Robinvale on March 14 outside the Commonwealth Bank on Perrin Street.
