New Optus tower a boon for Gol Gol

A NEW Optus tower at Gol Gol has been switched on, improving mobile coverage for people in the region.

The tower, located on Gol Gol North Road, is designed to provide dedicated coverage to the zone, capacity relief for adjacent sites and improve 4G mobile connection.

Optus territory general manager for Regional South Australia Rob Seymour said people needed good mobile coverage now more than ever.

“We know that customers want faster download speeds and confidence that they will be able to stay connected whether they’re at home or on the go,” he said.

Optus has been expanding its reach across regional NSW and has built 67 new sites in the state since 2019.
