Personal trainer Chris Brown means business with fun

MILDURA resident Chris Brown will realise a long-term dream today when he launches his personal training businesses.

Mr Brown lives with autism spectrum disorder and has always been motivated to find a way to unite people of all abilities.

Stepping into the fitness and health space was the “ultimate solution”, according to Mr Brown, who last year received certification as a qualified personal trainer.

“I did a course with MADEC and that’s what has guided me and taught me about business,” he said.

“I also have my business mentors Danielle, Leanne and Don, who have been helping me get it all up and organised.

“Tomorrow I will have four clients in my very first session and that will be fantastic.”

Mr Brown — alongside his mentors, who are happily on board with Fun and Fitness with Chris — will lead personal training sessions in a “judgment-free” space in Nowingi Place.

He encouraged people of all backgrounds and abilities to come along and reap the benefits of improving their fitness, while meeting new people.

“My business caters for all abilities in a safe and judgment-free space,” he said.

“Through my fitness sessions, they can enjoy getting their exercise and looking at the future in a positive way.

“That’s how fitness has helped me … both mentally and physically.”

More information and a list of session prices can be found on the Fun and Fitness with Chris Facebook page.
