Vision-impaired bowlers on a roll

THE Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club has been hosting this year’s Australian Blind Bowls Association National Championships with vision-impaired bowlers representing Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland.

The competition, which began on Thursday, continues until Wednesday next week with three sessions held each day from 9am and spectators welcome to attend.

It is the first time that the championships have been held outside a metropolitan area.
