MILDURA Heat's Big V division 2 men's side went down by the barest of margins in an overtime thriller in the second match of their double-header road trip at the weekend.

Unable to be separated at the final buzzer, the Heat and the Melton Thoroughbreds were forced into extra game time on Sunday, however the home side managed to earn a 99-98 win.

That made it two losses from two games on the road...
