THE first road trip of Mildura Heat's junior representative season has been cancelled due to the flood emergency gripping the state.

The Heat had a strong contingent lined up for the Swan Hill junior tournament this weekend, but organisers made the call on Sunday to cancel the event, with the Swan Hill stadium to be converted into an emergency relief centre for displaced Mallee residents.
