THERE was no love lost between teachers and students at Irymple Seconday College yesterday when they hit the footy field for a good cause.

The annual teachers versus students football match, which is a long-standing tradition at the college, aimed to mark the last day of term 2 and to raise money for the Foundation for Cancer Research and the college’s sponsor child in Timor-Leste.

Teacher Rod Matheson said students relished the chance to take some light-hearted revenge on the teachers.
