MILDURA'S Hazel Sofia remains optimistic after her Australian Idol journey ended last weekend, believing "there will be more things to come."

Sofia made it through multiple rounds of the competition, reaching the top 21 contestants before being eliminated on Sunday’s episode, which was themed Transformation Week.
