ACRYLIC artist Sharyn Davy has backed up her breakthrough win at the Magenta Art Prize in April, winning the Overall Best in Art prize at this year's Mildura Show.

Adding to what she described as an unexpectedly successful debut year in the competitive art scene, the Red Cliffs artist submitted a painting of an emu, affectionately known as Eugene.
