A PILLAR in the local arts community, Kay Sylvester was recently honoured for her artistic achievements over the years.

As part of that a retrospective exhibition was held to celebrate Sylvester's long-term commitment to arts in Mildura, having made her mark in painting, teaching music and arts advocacy.
