Mildura-born artist Daniel Whitford says he is often restricted to home by anxiety and finds inspiration for his work in the simple things around him.

Whitford's latest solo exhibition, Felines and Flora, opens at Red Cliffs gallery Workspace 3496 this week.

The exhibition features the cats in Whitford's life as well as flora from his backyard.
