Wentworth netball player profiles

Amanda Edwards (playing coach) – A pillar of strength and athleticism across the court and under the goal ring. A coach who leads by example and gives 110 per cent every time she hits the court. The Sharp Shooter of the Year will again be a tough match-up for any team.

Ashlee Cameron (captain) – Absolute workhorse through the midcourt always doing extra for her teammates, true leader and captain of this amazing team. Runner-up in the Horkings Medal count.

Christie Becker – With quick hands and feet making her opponent work for every ball, she makes her job look easy and effortless.

Kelsey Cameron – Experienced, steady and controlled player, who keeps her opponents guessing with every ball.

Emily Hosking – Versatile midcourter, competitive and will give her all for her team, no matter what her role is.

Molly Mangan – Steady and controlled, creating big moments in the attack end, with silky passes to her shooters, with a great netball brain.

Lola McInerney – One of the best up-and-coming netballers in the league with a standout year in U17s and her first full year in A Grade. She is one to watch.

Elizabeth Rowe – Controlled, accurate target and huge presence in the goal circle, creating a headache for her defenders with her movement and speed.

Courtney Wakefield – She is strong, fierce and hungry for the ball. Will stop at nothing to get her team over the line, having the gift to lift those around her.

Natalie Vercher – Your final line of defence could get no better, she is strong, determined and reads the play better than anyone else. The rock to the Roos defence.
