Cap rules tick: Sunraysia leagues praised for compliance with changes

AFL Victoria is pleased with how Sunraysia Football and Netball League and Millewa Football League clubs are adjusting to the new salary cap.

Region general manager for AFL Central Murray, Sunraysia and Wimmera Bruce Petering said clubs in the region had been compliant with providing relevant documents under the player payment rules brought in this season.

Clubs had until the middle of this month to supply AFL Victoria with a budget of their spending as well as a list of contracted and non-contracted players for the governing body to assess.
