Re Practical, Txt the Editor, Sunraysia Daily, July 11.  Your claim that a rail bypass would cost billions is an alarmist exaggeration, particularly if such a bypass was constructed in the same corridor as a road bypass at the same time. There are significant direct savings and other benefits associated with such a project.Lindsay LeakeMildura
