Guilty Hards reprimanded

BRAD Hards’ exemplary playing record has worked in his favour with the Imperials’ playing coach receiving a reprimand from the SFNL independent tribunal last night.

Hards (pictured right) was reprimanded after pleading guilty to carelessly striking Merbein’s Brendan Guy during Imperials’ loss to Merbein at the weekend.

After hearing evidence from Hards, Guy and reporting umpire Jamie Rodgers, Hards’ advocate had the opportunity to make a submission regarding the penalty – which would have been a set one week had Imperials chosen not to contest the case at the tribunal.
