Mildura set for run home

COMING off a bye, Mildura coach Mark Alvey says his side will start to prime themselves for their September campaign – starting today at the George Gordon Oval.

Facing the coach’s old side Wentworth, the Demons will regain Ben Camilleri and other key players who were subject to fitness tests at the club’s Thursday training.

Captain Josh Martin shook off a hamstring concern over the bye to maintain his place in the side, however Heath Caldwell is set to wait another week in his comeback from a broken jaw.
