Curtis thrust into new role

FORMER South Mildura footballer Tyler Curtis is developing well at VFL club Coburg in his first season with the Lions.

After proving himself at VFL Reserves level with Williamstown, Coburg general manager Sebastian Spagnuolo said 23-year-old Curtis was brought to Coburg to fill a need as a key forward but due to circumstances had his role changed.

“Our No.2 ruckman Mark Kovacevic did his ACL so Tyler has had to go into the ruck to support our No.1 ruckman and captain Tom Goodwin,” Spagnuolo said.
