MERBEIN coach Peter Johns will step down at the end of the year.
Johns, who turns 57 tomorrow, told Sunraysia Daily yesterday round 18 would signal more than just the end of Merbein’s 2017 SFNL season as he looks to step away from the top job.
“The South Mildura game will be my last as coach of the Merbein Football Club,” he said.
“But hopefully I’ll still be involved in some aspect, without the commitment side of things.”
