TALISMANIC Robinvale/Euston ruckman Ethan Gill is set to undergo post-season surgery on his right knee after being hampered for much of the second half of the season.
Gill injured his knee in round 13 at Euston against Merbein and has battled on since, spending a large portion of time up forward as the Eagles’ main target.
Coach Trent Fiscalini said the big South Australian would play out the rest of the Eagles’ season and then look at having the damage repaired.
