‘Burnt out’: Fiscalini battles on for one more game

TRENT Fiscalini’s coaching tenure at Robinvale/Euston will last for one more game at least.

Saturday’s 46-point win by the Eagles at Dareton over Wentworth, coupled with Imperials’ 47-point loss to Mildura, was enough for Fiscalini’s men to scrape into fourth spot and make finals for the first time as a merged club.

But that was not without some nervous moments waiting for the result at City Oval to come through.

“We had the game going on a speaker in the rooms and there were people on their phones trying to do the calculations. It was an anxious 15 minutes,” Fiscalini said.
