IMPERIALS coach Brad Hards’ 2018 season could be delayed with the midfielder set to front the SFNL independent tribunal.
Hards was booked by field umpire Michael Breewel for allegedly striking Mildura’s Dylan Murphy in the fourth quarter of Imperials 47-point loss to Mildura on Saturday and requested his case be heard by the panel.
The loss left Imperials in fifth place on the SFNL ladder and ruled them out of this weekend’s finals, with Hards’ suspension to carry into round one of next season if he is found guilty.
