RED Cliffs hope boom recruit Brian Fenton will become a long-term coach at the club.
Fenton has signed with the Tigers for the next two years as a playing joint-senior coach, supporting the recently reappointed Ashley Connick in 2018.
“The intention would definitely be to do it jointly with Brian next year and whether it’s solely Brian from then on, we’ll just go on a year-by-year basis,” Connick said.
“It’ll work very well having a really strong on-field leader in Brian and I can do the off-field stuff game-time.”
