Mildura double delight

FOR what is believed to be the first time in club history, Mildura Football Netball Club celebrated a double success this week at the SFNL McLeod Medal night.

Senior football captain Josh Martin and A grade goal defence Monique Sefton claimed the 2017 McLeod and Horkings medals respectively – the latter shared with Wentworth starlet Mikaela Fraser.

Martin polled 19 votes to beat out teammate Andrew Richardson, Imperials’ Adam Hartlett and Irymple’s Dan Coghlan for the award while Sefton and Fraser polled 24 votes to share the Horkings Medal.
