MILDURA is again left searching for answers after the minor premiers’ season was ended by Irymple in the SFNL preliminary final.

The Demons lost only twice during the regular season, but underachieved in finals with a second consecutive defeat on Saturday.

Mildura won 42 out of 50 regular season games over the past three seasons, finishing second in 2015,  then claiming consecutive minor premierships.

However, the Demons’ finals record during that period now stands at one win and five losses – with a second semi-final victory last year securing direct passage to the grand final.
