The council makes a bad call on trees

What a stupid decision by the council to cut down all those sugar gum trees between Ninth and Tenth streets on Deakin Avenue and to leave those four tall skyscraper palm trees standing.Surely they are not going to stay. What is the point to keeping those ugly shadeless things?Eric Lee, Mildura
