Club of the Year carries off the silver

SATURDAY was a big day for the Irymple Football Netball Club with an amazing four flags taken home.

As well as the senior football and A Grade netball, the club won both 17 and under netball divisions to round out a successful season for the Swallows – already announced Club of the Year on McLeod Medal night.

“It’s a big community, to take the senior netball and senior football on the

same day is a fantastic achievement,” a satisfied Irymple president Rod Simms said.

“And the 17s Division 1 and 2 with the medal as well, my daughter (Dakota) happened to play in the Division 1, so it was a great day for the family as well.”
