AROUND TOWN THIS WEEK?

The school holidays are over, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had around town this week!

We’ve rounded up some exciting things happening this week in Sunraysia.

Join the fun at the Midway and Wentworth Libraries every Friday from 10:30am for Little Bookworms. Kids aged 0-5 can enjoy a morning of stories, song and play time, while their parents and friends enjoy a tea or coffee.

Snack on some yummy popcorn while you enjoy an afternoon flick at the Merbein Library on Wednesday. They’ll be hosting a free matinee showing of This Beautiful Fantastic from 2pm. Spots will be filling up fast, so book your seat by calling 5018 8361. Make sure to check out some books after the movie!

Twilight is back on the Arts Centre lawns this Friday! Kicking off from 5pm, there’ll be plenty of live music and lots of great food. Kids will be able to make their own music with Sunraysia Arts and Learning, or make collaged creatures with local artist Stacey Perry. With the weather warming up at the end of the week, this free event is the perfect way to swing in to your weekend!

The annual Mildura Show is back from Thursday! This fun filled, jam packed extravaganza has something for everyone to enjoy. From show rides to arcade games, petting zoos to show bags, you’re never short on something to do at the show. Don’t forget the fireworks on Thursday at 9pm, or Saturday at 9:30pm! Head to the Mildura Show website to book your tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
