Kangaroos and Saints come to town to woo Lochie O’Brien: Chase is on for top Dog

RECRUITERS from two Victorian AFL clubs met with touted high draft prospect Lochie O’Brien in Mildura yesterday ahead of the November 24 event.

North Melbourne and St Kilda officials travelled to visit South Mildura product O’Brien at home, another step in the recruiting process with both clubs taking a keen interest in the midfielder’s prospects.

“Primarily the home interviews are more about just meeting our parents, getting to see what our family life is like and introducing themselves to them,” O’Brien said.

“(But) it’s been a really good experience and I’ve enjoyed it.”
