Tigers’ cup is coming to town – Balme

RICHMOND will be bringing its historic 2017 AFL premiership cup to Mildura – it’s just a matter of when.

Speaking yesterday in town as part of Richmond Football Club’s support for the Mildura Rural City Council’s Mildura Future Ready strategy, the club’s general manager of football Neil Balme told Sunraysia Daily the cup will come.

“I think it’s a certainty (of coming to Mildura) – it’s going to go on tour, and if I could have I would have brought it today, but it had already been booked,” Balme said.

“I think the president had it somewhere, or something was going on.”
