Mildura boss lady looks to the future

MILDURA Football Netball Club’s new president believes the club still has the playing list to compete despite key losses on the football field and netball court.

Toni Dean was elected to replace the outgoing Jeff Hosking on Wednesday night and said despite some well publicised departures from the football senior side and the loss of Horkings Medal winner Amy Dodds from A Grade netball, the club would push forward.

“We’ve lost a few from our ­senior football side, but the team list is still really strong, and our A grade is the same thing – we’ve lost a couple,” Dean said.
