MILDURA coach Heath Caldwell has backed the next generation of talent at City Oval.
With a number of high-profile Demons departures, notably reigning McLeod medallist Josh Martin, new Robinvale-Euston coach Andrew Richardson and key forward Dustin Gordon, Caldwell signalled there could be half a dozen new faces promoted from the club’s successful 2017 under 18 side.
“We’ve got a good bunch of under 18s coming through that won the flag last year,” he said.
