Robinvale-Euston rue the lapses

ROBINVALE-Euston co-captain Ethan Gill admits the Eagles are not consistent enough after their second-half fade-out against Red Cliffs.

The Eagles led comfortably at every change at Euston on Saturday before being overrun in the last quarter by the Tigers, who booted eight goals of their 12 for the match in that term.

After kicking 5.5 to three behinds with the wind in the first quarter, the hosts failed to capitalise in the third quarter but still took a four-goal lead into the final change, before losing by 15 points.

“We have moments where we can be a good side and then moments when we’re not consistent enough for long enough,” Gill said after the game.
