Matt Mazzini settles into senior level

MATT Mazzini says he is now feeling comfortable at senior level.

The 19-year-old key defender debuted for the Green and Whites in 2016 for two games before 11 games last season and has now settled into the club’s senior side.

“I’ve got great support around me, especially in the back line with Brendan Rhodes – he’s really good to look up to and has taught me a bit,” Mazzini said.

“And obviously Brad Hards and Adam Hartlett are great coaches.”

Mazzini said his tandem with 2013 premiership player Rhodes had been a big part of his rise in senior football.
