FORMER Wentworth footballer Jarrod Brander (pictured) will remain at AFL club West Coast until the end of 2021 after inking a new deal with the club.
The club’s first pick of the 2017 AFL National Draft recently put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension that will keep him in blue and gold until the end of season 2021.
Brander has not put a foot wrong since landing in the Eagles’ nest late last year and has been among East Perth’s most impressive players through the first six rounds of the WAFL season.
Spending the majority of his time up forward, the 19-year-old is averaging 17 disposals, 7.4 marks and two goals per game in the state league competition.
