Bernie Kelly to run in Mad Dog’s footsteps

FORMER champion marathon runner Bernie Kelly and Ouyen United gun forward and premiership hero Marcus Healy are confirmed entries in the Walk in the Park, part of the Mad Dog Morgan Lost Gold Festival to be held at Patchewollock this weekend.

The pair will run the entire 26km of the journey.

Healy is on the comeback trail after a recent groin injury suffered several weeks ago at training and is looking to test his fitness while former Australian marathon representative Kelly still umpires senior football in the Central Murray League and runs 50 km a week.
