SATURDAY’S performance shows there is plenty of work still to do on the South Mildura project, coach Pat Irwin says.
The rebuilding Bulldogs took it up to three finals contenders in successive weeks before clinching a hard-earned win in round 7 at Merbein, but produced a turnover-riddled showing in their 86-point defeat to Robinvale-Euston.
“We got outworked and beaten by a very good football side who are more advanced than we are, as of right now,” Irwin said.
