
RED Cliffs forward Beau Riordan says the Tigers’ recruits have allowed him to “get off the leash” at times this season.
The midfield injection provided by several quality new players including co-coach Brian Fenton, Myles Warmington, Todd Mackay and Jake Liston has freed up Riordan, 22, to establish himself as a threat up front for the Tigers.
“I’ve always wanted to not be that one position player, I want to be a bit mobile so I’ve been given the opportunity up forward this year which I’ve just grabbed with both hands and give it my best,” Riordan said.
