Title spells coaching end

ANDY Jardine has stepped down as coach of Ouyen United a happy man.

The popular playing coach said after Saturday’s thrilling five-point grand final win over Irymple that he would relinquish his role on the coaching staff to spend more time with his family.

“It’s been pretty hard on my wife with two kids and that, so I’ll step back and enjoy (the premiership) and suit up again and have a kick with the boys and just enjoy it,” he said.
