THERE would be few players in the SFNL you’d rather have the ball in the hands of with the game on the line than Ouyen United vice-captain Brad Vallance.
The 30-year-old, who has built quite a reputation in football across Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory over the course of his career, was the hero yet again on Saturday on his way to a second John Groves Medal (after winning in 2016) and the AFL Victoria Country Medal.
But his overall game is perhaps overshadowed by one of his final acts on the ground this season.
