ON Tuesday, November 19, the women played a nine-hole Stableford event which was won by Ann Dews with 18 points from runner-up Carla Sherriff on 16 points.

Last Wednesday was a medley par event played in two grades.
There was a three-way countback in A Grade on +1 with Rob Toms having the better back nine to defeat Maurice Warn and Peter Rhodes.
The B Grade winner was Mathew Cattach on +3 from runner-up Alan Steedman on +2 with Don McConnell third with +1.

The ladies 18-hole Stableford played on Friday was won Tracy Katis with 33 points from Christine Harley on 28 points.

Saturday was a 4BBB Stableford event for venue vouchers and it was a family affair for the trophy winners.
Chris Bush partnered both his sons, with Carter to win the event with 52 points, and with Cooper to come runnersup on 49 points.
Third place went to siblings Joseph and Mathias Moisidis on 46 points on a countback from John Williams and Rob Toms.
Balls: 43 points on a countback.

RIVERSIDE
ON Monday, November 18, only 15 golfers fronted up to the Stableford competition, but out of those 15, three players were lucky enough to leave with eagles.
Eagles went to Shawn Clarke on the par-five 2nd hole and Jarrad Stokker and Roberto Fuoco on the par-five 11th hole.
Jarrad Stokker was the winner of the day with 39 points in front of runner-up Greg King on 36 points.

The ladies played a nine-hole stroke event on Tuesday, November 19, with May Connolly coming out on top with 34 net from Leonie Nott on a countback with Roylene Bailey, both on 35 net.

The members and visitors contested the Monthly Award on Wednesday and Lukas Pedder had the overall best score of the day with 79/67.
Ang D’Amico was the winner of A Grade 82/69 after a countback against Trevor Williams 80/69.
Chris D’Amico won B Grade with 69 net after his 88 off the stick from runner-up Neil Bryant on 88/71.

Lyn Delmenico won Thursday’s women’s Stableford finishing her round with 41 points with Roylene Bailey five shots behind in second place on 36 points.

Connor Chatterton had 22 points to be the winner of Friday’s nine-hole medley Stableford with ‘Chook’ Baldock runner-up on 21 points.
Wendy Dawson won the ladies stroke on Saturday with 93/73 with Rat Riordan grabbing second place after her round of 96/75.

The men played for the Monthly Medal on Saturday in three grades with Kendall Marchment taking out A Grade with 74/69 with Daniel Slorach (Coomealla) only one stroke behind on 79/70.
Jayden Smith had a ripper day completing his round on 81 off the stick to card a brilliant 65 net to win the B Grade Medal and round of the week in front of runner-up Harvey Spratt with 87/69.
The winner of C Grade was Rory Kelly with 88/66 from runner-up Thomas Halton on 95/69.

The best score of the day and equal round of the week went to Marty Scott after he sizzled around the course with 45 points, two in front of runner-up Harry Heuzenroeder on 43 points.

LAST Wednesday’s medley stroke event had 56 players compete for top honors in the Summer Monthly.
Neville Birch emerged victorious in A Grade with a net score of 69 claiming a club voucher with Lee Bottomley securing second place with net 71.
In B Grade Ken Evans clinched the win with a net 73 narrowly edging out Christine Hartley who finished on net 74 after a countback.

Glenn Goodall claimed A Grade honors with an impressive 46 points (club voucher) from runner-up Matthew Stonehouse with 45 points.
Heather Shaw triumphed in B Grade with 39 points from runner-up Jimmy Frangos with 37 points.
Daryl Morgan had an eagle.

WENTWORTH
TUESDAY’S Chicken Run played on November 19 had a good turn-up with Jeff Hedland taking the win.
Tee off is between 5-5.30pm and it’s a fun social nine-holes.
Thursday’s competition was cancelled.
Sundays Stableford was played in pleasant weather conditions and thankfully the rain held off.
Talk about ‘chocolates to boiled lollies’ – Glen Walker had 42 Stableford points the previous Sunday but only 19points on Sunday, collectng the Mr Risky pink ball award.
Back on the winners list on Sunday was Maxie Hodges with 37 points from runner-up for a refreshing ale Howard Hankinson on 32 points, with third place going to Jeff Hedland on 28 points for a ball.

The weather forecast looks favourable for the stroke competition on Thursday and tee off for Sunday’s Stableford is 9.45am.
VETERANS
SUNRAYSIA’S district veteran golfers are travelling to the Mildura Golf Resort on Monday for the keenly contested Sunraysia Daily single Stableford event.
It will be the last competition for the year before the association commences its two month summer break.
Being the last for the year also means that it will be a special Christmas lunch and there will be the traditional Christmas raffle and as part of this month registration players will receive their copy of next years schedule.
It would be appreciated if players could have the correct green fees ($25) and wear their badge to assist with registration.
Cart hire is the responsibility of individual members and it’s advised that you contact the pro shop as early as possible.
The usual starting times apply with registration commencing at 8.30am, the captain’s address at 9am and the shotgun start at 9.30am.
