Review to look at Mildura AFL hub option

ESTABLISHING a regional administration centre is one of the things which will be looked at under a review of local football and netball in Sunraysia.

Currently, the Sunraysia Football Netball League (SFNL) and the Millewa Football League (MFL) operate independently, maintaining their own offices and staff separately to AFL Victoria, which has a football development manager who works out of a different office in Mildura.

The centralisation of administration services would create a better flow of information and provide cost-saving benefits, according to AFL regional general manager for Wimmera-Mallee, Central Murray and Sunraysia Bruce Petering.
